Make the impossible possible

The new advertising campaign slogan of Citroën is “make the impossible possible.” The change created an excellent opportunity for the automobile brand to ask LABEL.ch to rebuild its promotional website using the latest web technologies.

The old website was almost entirely in Flash. However, many mobile devices no longer support this technology. The new website has been developed in .NET and integrated in HTML5 using many Java-Script effects, especially for navigation and slide shows. It should be noted that the website is multilingual and has several templates tailored to each car line (with dominance of red for the classic models, and gray for the DS).

At the back office, the focus has been on simplicity and the speed of updating the website content. All data and text are stored in an xml file to upload for an instant update of the entire website. Concerning images, an application recognizes the names of directories and displays the good images in each slideshow.

Finally, the website has been optimized for search engines and sharing to social networks. Various links provide access to other Citroën websites and applications. QR-code will be used to connect the future “print” campaigns to the web pages.
